This Privacy Policy applies to both historical and future personal data. By agreeing to the processing of your personal data, we will process not only future data in accordance with this Policy but also personal data already stored with us.

Overview & principles

“Processing” of personal data covers any handling of your data: collection, storage, management, use, transmission, disclosure, and deletion.

Trisa Electronics collects personal data necessary for specific purchases and to provide better services. Data is used exclusively within the Trisa Group and is not shared with third parties.

Examples of better services:

1. How do we protect your personal data?

We use technical and organisational measures to protect personal and session data from unauthorised or unlawful processing and from accidental loss, alteration, disclosure, or access. Transmission over the Internet entails inherent risks; absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

2. How long do we retain data, and where is it stored?

We retain data as long as necessary for the stated purposes or to comply with applicable law, then delete it—no later than statutory limits. Inactive customer accounts are deleted after one year of inactivity and no response to a 30‑day reactivation period.

Data we collect is stored exclusively on servers located in Switzerland.

9. To whom do we disclose personal data?

We may disclose data to other Trisa Group companies (see Trisa Holding annual report). They may use it for the same purposes. Access within the Group is limited to personnel who need it to perform their duties.

10. How do we use cookies?

We use cookies to ensure functionality (e.g., cart) and to improve the user experience.

10.1 Why: to ensure functions and usability.

10.2 Types: session cookies (removed at session end) and temporary/permanent cookies (1 month to 10 years).

10.3 Content: no direct personal data; anonymous identifiers only.

10.4 Control: refuse or delete cookies in your browser (some features may be limited).

11. How do we use log files?

Every visit to our websites generates usage data (e.g., date/time) stored in log files. We analyse these to improve services, fix issues, and manage capacity.

12. How do we use web analytics tools?

We use tracking technologies (e.g., Google Analytics) to optimise our services. Usage data, including shortened IP addresses, is transmitted to prevent direct device identification. Transfers to third parties occur only as required by law or under data processing agreements.

13. How do we use social plugins?

Our sites may include social plugins (Facebook, Twitter, Google). Loading these may establish a direct connection to their servers; if you are logged in, your visit can be associated with your profile.

To prevent third‑party cookies, enable “Block third‑party cookies” in your browser (some site functions may be limited).

14. Payment security

Data exchanged between you and us is encrypted with a 256‑bit SSL certificate (bank‑grade). You can recognise this by “https://” and the padlock icon. Saferpay (SIX) is a certified platform for secure online credit/debit card payments.
